Journaling
Over the past few days I've been getting into journaling finally. It's really fun and I'd recommend you give it a go. It's nice to get my thoughts out without the pressure of writing it for someone yk?
I decided to give it another go after I saw someone frame it in a different manner to how I'd already been thinking about it. Instead of writing down the things that happen in my life, it's more about getting the thoughts out of my head and onto the paper. It not only gives me something to do besides scroll when I'm bored it also helps me slow down and make sense of my thoughts without all the other noise.
I don't have an "inner monologue" (I do feel like there are constantly six speakers playing different sounds in my head which my friends with ADHD say is a symptom but we can ignore that :3) but when I'm writing it feels like the journal is a substitute for it.
